Colonial Web Solutions thinks that type of charging is total non sense because of how fast the site can be put together after the first page has been developed. A Content Management System is a login section of the website where the client can go to make changes to his or her's site. Most clients do not want to hassle with a Content Management System based site so the majority of business owners want a static website.

Yes, a static website can be updated. However, it can only be updated by Colonial Web Solutions or someone else with html experience. Colonial Web Solutions charges $20 dollars a page for text updates.

What E-commerce packages does Colonial Web Solutions offer?

We currently offer two types of E-commerce packages, we offer an in house solution and we offer a solution using zencart or oscommerce. Our in house solution is much cheaper then if we were to use zencart or oscommerce. With our in house solution, there is not an advanced back end for you to manage and is not recommended for lots of products. However, our ZenCart or OScommerce solution is perfect for any type of products and for any number. ZenCart and OScommerce both have an extensive back end.
